This is his first solo album after recording his last 5 with various bands.

While Harper is standing alone this go around, he is visited by several famous friends who contributed their talents on Give. Jackson Browne sings harmony on one track. Former Beatle Ringo Starr, with whom Harper has previously toured and recorded, played drums on a couple tracks. Harper says the song “Spilling Faith” is “the most Beatles-sounding song” he’s ever done…and now we know why! 

Harper’s tenth album, Give Till It’s Gone is due out in stores May 17.

Hulu is internet “TV on your terms.  Watch your favorite videos right from your browser, anytime, for free.  With full episodes of TV shows both current and classic, full-length movies, web originals, and clips of just about everything.”

The channel was launched on March 9th to celebrate Harper’s release of “Live from the Montreal International Jazz Festival.”  The channel was featuring a limited screening of the entire Montreal DVD in addition to a diverse collection of music videos and live performances, both past and present.

Currently Ben Harper and the Relentless7 have a jam-packed summer tour scheduled through September. Their tickets are a hot commodity.

The festival will be held on April 23rd and 24th in Nashville, Tenn., with tickets going on sale February 22nd.

Ben Harper tickets are sure to fly with this lineup – Cold War Kids, Two Door Cinema Club, Sierra Leone’s Refuge All Stars, Doug E. Fresh and JJ Grey & Mofro will also perform.
